Our Service Projects

Our chapter performs many community service projects throughout the year.  Our efforts benefit needy children and families in the Phoenix metropolitan area.  We are always looking for members’ input and support of the projects we select.

Past Projects

  • Teddy Bear Picnic for donation of stuffed animals to our local fire station
  • Visiting a local nursing home for a Halloween Parade and Christmas caroling
  • Salvation Army Christmas Angel Program
  • Canned Food drives at Easter and Thanksgiving
  • Donation of toys and supplies to Phoenix Children’s Hospital Healthy Steps
  • Cell Phone collection for women at risk for domestic violence
  • Participation in the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure
  • Adopting individuals residing at “Save the Family” for Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas gifts.

Ongoing Projects

  • Clean up of our “Adopt a Street” section here in Ahwatukee
  • Used book collection for the Volunteer Non-Profit Association
  • Aluminum Can collection with funds going to UMOM, a Phoenix family shelter
  • Muffin MOMS, donations for coffee and muffins at our monthly meetings go to the Mother-to-Mother Fund, which helps MOMS Club members in need.
